At our theatre

Welcome to the theatre!

Dress code

We do not have a dress code. Whether smart, casual or just comfortable – please come as you feel comfortable.

Entrance to the foyer

The foyers of our venues usually open one hour before the performance begins; here you will find the box office, programmes and catering facilities.

Coat check

Jackets can be left at the coat check free of charge; for security reasons, large bags and rucksacks may not be taken into the auditorium.

Food and drink

Before the performance and during the intervals, our foyer bars offer drinks and light snacks. You are welcome to order drinks for the interval before the performance begins.

Introductions and post-performance discussions

On selected dates, we provide further insight into the play, the music, the characters and the themes through introductions and/or post-performance discussions. You can find the dates on our website and in the monthly programme.

Admission to the auditorium

Admission to the auditorium usually begins 10 to 15 minutes before the performance starts.

Gong

A gong in the foyer signals the start of the performance and serves as a reminder to make your way into the auditorium in good time.

Late entry

Late entry is only permitted at appropriate moments and does not guarantee access to your booked seat; for some productions, late entry is not permitted.

Photography and mobile phones

Please enjoy some mobile-free time and switch off your mobile phone during the performance. Photography, filming and audio recording are not permitted during the performance – you are welcome to take a photo of the final curtain call.

Age recommendations

Our productions are aimed at different age groups. You’ll find the relevant age recommendation listed for each production in the programme.

Content notes

We publish information about sensitive content on our website. You’ll find this on the relevant production page under the heading »Content notes«.
