In the foyer of Marguerre-Saal, you’ll find an information desk where we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the programme and finding your way around the theatre.

Also present are the Press and Public Relations team with a raffle, and the Dramaturgy department with the »Alles muss raus!« book stall, where you can snap up literary treasures from our dramaturgs’ 15 years at the theatre on a donation basis.

There are also information stands for Theatre•Lovers, theater+ and our Friends’ Association Freundeskreis.

The Prinzhorn Collection Museum is exhibiting variations on the crocheted face of a life-size doll, reconstructed by costume designer Erika Landertinger and art historian Claudia Schneebauer for the current exhibition »Alles Kunst? 25 Years of the Prinzhorn Collection Museum«. The original, preserved only through a photograph, belonged to the patient Katharina Detzel (1872–1960).
Erika Landertinger has also been working on the costumes for the new production of »Cyrano de Bergerac« at the Heidelberg Theatre and Orchestra. The doll and the play share one striking detail – the distinctive nose.

Would you like a guided tour of our house with lots of background information? We also offer theatre tours at the Open Day. Up to 15 people can take part in each tour. A self-portrait in a rococo costume? In an astronaut suit or with an animal mask? You will be surprised! Our photo box invites you to try on unusual costumes and find yourself in new roles for a selfie.

At Probebühne 3, our dance educator Gaëlle Morello and André Kuntze from the theatre ensemble will be hosting dance workshops for various age groups. The number of participants is limited to 15 per workshop.

In Musikzimmer 3, our ensemble members Theresa Immerz and Winfrid Mikus are waiting for all singing enthusiasts who want to give it a go themselves in a short workshop. Workshop leaders will meet participants at the information desk in the foyer at the start time of each workshop. The number of participants is limited to 6 per workshop. Free attendance cards are available at the book table in the foyer of the Marguerre Hall.
