Aliki Leftherioti is an Athens-based producer, composer, and performer, focusing on plunderphonics, free improvisation, and electroacoustic composition. She works with visual, mixed-media, and dance artists. She hosts radio shows, writes, and performs with her personal project Saber Rider (Just Gazing Records, Submersion Records), and regularly collaborates and tours with other artists and musicians, emphasizing improvisation and live sampling. As a composer and sound designer, her work has been showcased at the Athens International Film Festival, the BBC, the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, the Drama Film Festival, the Greek Film Archive, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, National Greek Television, ReWorks Festival, SNFCC, the Athens Video Dance Project, London Graduate Fashion Week, Julidans, Stegi Onassis, City University London, and Goldsmiths University of London, among others.
As a live artist, she has performed in both collaborative and personal projects at various venues, including Lovebox Festival, Café OTO, Brixton Academy, Green Man, Athens Megaron, Brecon Jazz Festival, Athens Conservatoire, Olympic Park, Berghain, Plissken Festival, TripSpace London, Kaai Theatre, London Pride, Goldsmiths University of London, KET, Romantso, Krama Festival, and more. She has collaborated, among others, with Ioanna Paraskevopoulou for »All Of My Love« (Stegi Onassis), Ermira Goro for »TELOS« (July 2024, Athens and Epidaurus Festival), and »MEETINGS«, premiering at the International Festival of Tirana (September 2024), as well as »VOICES«, a multimedia installation by Margarita Athanasiou (Brooklyn Academy of Music, January 2025).
