Holly Mitchell is a dancer and performance artist. Her international career includes both soloist and premiere roles in a diverse repertoire – from classical works by choreographers such as Kenneth MacMillan and Anthony Dowson ARAD to contemporary and commercial pieces by Drew McOnie, Jodie Blemings and MBE Kenrick Sandy.
She has performed on renowned stages, including the Royal Albert Hall and Sadler's Wells in London, the National Dance House Wales and the lake stage of the Bregenz Festival (»Madama Butterfly«, 2022–2023). Critics and choreographers particularly praise her quality of movement, technical precision, expressiveness and professional approach to her work.

Holly took on leading roles in Cathy Marston's Traces and MacMillan's »Elite Syncopations« (Short and Tall) as part of the evening programme »Brief Encounters« on the UK tour of Encore Dance Company. She also starred in Anthony Dowson's »Rock ‘n‘ Roll« at a gala performance by the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain.
Holly completed her professional training at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in 2017. That same year, she was selected as one of only 15 international semi-finalists in the contemporary category of the nationwide BBC Young Dancer show. She was then invited to join Chrysalis London, where she spent three formative years developing world premiere roles under the direction of Jodie Blemings, performing at leading UK theatres and collaborating with brands such as Innocent Smoothies, London Aquarium and Netflix. She has continuously participated in further training programmes such as Matthew Bourne's »Summer Adventures« and the Wayne McGregor Company's »RESET2020« initiative.
Since 2021, Holly has been working as a freelance dancer in Mannheim-Heidelberg. Most recently, she danced at the Theater Heidelberg in Lennart Kammlers musical theatre production »DSCH« and is currently working as dance captain for Michael Schmieder in the productions »La Cenerentola«, directed by Holger Schultze, and »María de Buenos Aires«, directed by Guillermo Amaya.
Since 2020, she has been choreographing her own stage and video productions. Her original piece »The Heart Never Forgets« (2023) premiered at the Theater Felina in Mannheim.
