The American-Russian violinist Maria Ioudenitch attracted attention when she won first prizes at three international violin competitions in 2021 - the Ysaÿe, Tibor Varga and Joseph Joachim competitions - as well as numerous special prizes at these competitions. In 2023, she won the OPUS KLASSIK in the »Chamber Music Recording of the Year« category for her debut album »Songbird« on Warner Classics. Highlights of the 2024/25 season include debuts with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich as part of the Orpheum Foundation concert series, the Trondheim Symfoniorkester, the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, with whom she also goes on tour. In the USA, she works with the symphony orchestras of Cincinnati and Detroit and - in her home town - with the Kansas City Symphony Orchestra. She has recently appeared with the hr-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (at the Berlin Philharmonie), the MDR-Sinfonieorchester Leipzig, the Düsseldorfer and Münchner Symphoniker, the NDR-Radiophilharmonie Hannover, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and the Utah Symphony.
