Zuzana Petrasová

Zuzana Petrasová, born and raised in Prague, began her musical training on the piano at an early age and later switched to singing. From 2019, the young mezzo-soprano studied singing at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz with professor Kateřina Beranová. She recently spent a semester abroad in Italy in the class of professor Umberto Chiummo.
As part of her studies, she took part in many university productions, including »Die Zauberflöte« as the 3rd lady, in »La finta giardiniera« as Ramiro and in »Hänsel und Gretel« as Hänsel. In a co-production with Musiktheater Linz, she performed the title role of Oreste from the opera of the same name by G. F. Händel in the BlackBox in 2022.
She has been a member of the Oberösterreichisches Opernstudio ensemble at the Musiktheater Linz since the 2023/24 season and is now making her debut at Winter in Schwetzingen.
