Yve Grieser, born in Cologne, first completed secondary school, then exhibition construction. This was followed by acting studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Yve enjoys the diversity of storytelling and is particularly interested in characters and texts that are unreasonable and therefore provoke ridicule from others, sometimes strange people. As an actor and performer, they has been working since 2020 at the Kosmos Theater Vienna, Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, DT Göttingen, k.l.o. Theater Berlin, Schauspielhaus Hamburg, ITZ Tübingen and the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, where Yve is appearing in the production »Der Tartuffe oder Kapital und Ideologie« (director: Volker Lösch), which has been invited to the 2022 Berlin Theatertreffen. Together with Peer Mia* Ripberger, Corinna Huber and the ITZ ensemble, Yve is developing the story for the seven-part theatre series »Im Taumel des Zorns« in Tübingen in 2023. In addition to dramatic material, they enjoys writing essayistic prose.
In the 2024/25 season, Yve was a guest performer at the Junges Theater Heidelberg in the production »Pubertäter*innen« among other productions, and at the start of the 2025/26 season, they became a permanent member of the ensemble at the Junges Theater Heidelberg.
