Yve Grieser

Yve Grieser has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Junges Theater Heidelberg since the 2025/26 season.

Yve Grieser, born in Cologne, first completed their secondary school leaving certificate, then trained in exhibition stand construction. They subsequently studied acting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. As an actor and performer, they have appeared on stage since 2020 at venues including the Kosmos Theater Wien, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, the DT Göttingen, the k.l.o. Theatre in Berlin, the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the ITZ Tübingen. They have also performed at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, where Yve Grieser is appearing in the production »Der Tartuffe oder Kapital und Ideologie« (directed by Volker Lösch), which has been invited to the 2022 Berlin Theatertreffen.

Together with Peer Mia* Ripberger, Corinna Huber and the ITZ ensemble, Yve Grieser is developing the story for the seven-part theatre series »Im Taumel des Zorns« in Tübingen in 2023. Alongside their permanent engagement in Heidelberg, they have been part of the Berlin performance collective Queerdos since 2025, writing dramatic material and teaching methods of participatory writing.
