Tobias Joch

Since graduating from the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg in 2014, Tobias Joch has appeared in numerous leading musical roles in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He made his role debut as Raoul in »The Phantom of the Opera« at the Metronom Theater Oberhausen. He was then part of the opening night cast of the world premiere of Stephen Schwartzʼs musical »Schikaneder«, directed by Sir Trevor Nunn at the Raimund Theater in Vienna, where he appeared as Johann Friedel.
This was followed by engagements in »Disney's Mary Poppins« (Bert), »Hairspray« (Link Larkin), »Ein Amerikaner in Paris« (Jerry Mulligan), »The Addams Family« (Lukas Beineke) and »Songs For A New World« (Mann 2).
The European tour of »Disney 100: The Concert« took him to internationally renowned stages such as the O2 Arena London and the Arena di Verona.
Most recently, he appeared as Jamie in »The Last 5 Years« at the Theater im Palais and as Joachim Franck in »Ku'damm 59 - Das Musical« at the Theater des Westens in Berlin.
In addition to his work as a stage actor, he is also in front of the camera for film and television, for example in the ARD film drama »Klara Sonntag - Liebe macht blind« and in the successful ZDF series »SOKO Wismar«.
