Born in Bonn, Niklas completed his musical theater studies at the Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich, earning a Master of Arts as a scholarship recipient of the German Stage Association.
Most recently, Niklas appeared as Paul in the musical »Kiss Me, Kate« at Bühne Baden near Vienna. At the Salzburger Landestheater, he made his role debut as Cosmo Brown in »Singin’ in the Rain« during the 2023/24 season and had already performed as Neil Kellerman in »Dirty Dancing« on tour through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in 2023.
Furthermore, he played Eugene Florczyk in the cult musical »Grease« (Musicalsommer Amstetten), tap dancer Pete in »Swing Street« (Fürth/Heilbronn/Neustrelitz), and Charles Lightoller in the musical »Titanic« by Maury Yeston and Peter Stone (Landestheater Linz). Other musical and operetta productions in which Niklas has performed include »Märchen im Grand Hotel« (Staatstheater Nürnberg), »American Idiot« (Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck), »Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella« (Prinzregententheater München), »Little Me« (Stadttheater Fürth), and »Anatevka« (Oper Bonn).
Beyond the stage, Niklas also works as a voice actor.
