Charlotte Martin, born 1994 in Rieden in Switzerland, is a freelance scenographer and stage designer. After training as a painter and gaining several years of professional experience, she studied interior design with a focus on scenography at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Basel FHNW. She entered the world of theatre in 2017 with the opening project »Im Flow der Apokalypse« at Theater Basel, followed by a stage design assistantship with Dominic Huber at Junges Theater Basel. She has worked with Thomas Giger for Theater Hora, Vorschlag:Hammer and the Berner Generationenhaus, among others. From 2021 to 2023, she was assistant stage designer at Bühnen Bern, where she designed the stage for »Hänsel & Greta & The Big Bad Witch«. At the Usinesonore Festival 2022, she developed an immersive stage installation together with Milian Mori and Tatiana Timonina. Other projects have taken her to the Hochschule der Künste Bern Master's programme in acting, Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, Theater Basel and Tojo Theater Reitschule Bern, among others.
