Tobias Schmitt

Tobias Schmitt is a musician, composer, producer and teacher. Born in Hardheim in 1989, he initially studied electric bass at the Berufsfachschule Dinkelsbühl, followed by a bachelor's degree in jazz double bass at the Hochschule für Darstellende Kunst und Musik in Mannheim. He then completed a Master's degree in Educating Artist at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. Tobias Schmitt works internationally as a freelance musician; concert tours have taken him to Ireland, Scotland, Malaysia, India and South Africa, among other places. In addition to his concert activities, he works as a composer for theatre and dance productions and as a teacher in individual and group formats.
