Jörg Kunze

Jörg Kunze, born in Bad Muskau (East Saxony) and raised in Weißwasser, is an actor and musician with a particular passion for the theatre. After training at the Hamburg School of Drama, he established himself as a versatile artist who works for theatre, film and television. His musical work is characterised by creative versatility and a love of experimentation. As a self-taught composer, Kunze uses a wide range of instruments - from bass clarinet and piano to percussion, hulusi and modern synthesisers. Always in search of new soundscapes, he creates compositions that combine traditional and experimental elements in a unique way. In the 2024/25 season, he will compose and produce the music and take over the musical direction for »Death of a Salesman« at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg.
