Nele Christoph

Nele Christoph (she/her), born in Schwerin in 1997, completed her acting studies at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna in 2023. During her studies, she already performed in productions at the Burgtheater Wien, the Schauspiel Leipzig and the Bayerische Theaterakademie. Her debut after drama school, »Fischer Fritz« by Raphaela Bardutzky, directed by David Bösch at the Landestheater Linz, was performed at the Heidelberger Stückemarkt in 2024. The production won the Nachspielpreis award, and Nele Christoph was nominated for Best Young Actress in the magazine Theater heute. This was followed by work in Vienna, Mannheim and Munich with directors Mira Stadler, Stefan Ebner and Jakob Altmayer, among others. Her focus was on collaborative processes that challenged her artistically beyond acting. She also directed the play development »Call me (,) Daddy oder Rettet die Zärtlichkeit oder die Räuber aber nicht von Schiller sondern von dein Herz«. In the 2025/26 season, Nele Christoph will be a permanent member of the ensemble at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg.
