Alina Tikhonova

Alina Tikhonova was born in 1992 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.  She graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Surikov art school and subsequently graduated from St. Petersburg Institute of Law, specialty legal philosophy in 2014. She then studied in the lab of new media on the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg and since then works as a video artist. Installations and performances, among others, in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Utrecht and Zurich. In 2025/26, Alina Tikhonova is media artist in the production »The Vegetarian« by Han Kang at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg.
