Josie Stickdorn

Josie Stickdorn, born in Calw in 2001, is a German-American guitarist and songwriter. She began her musical career at the age of 11, teaching herself to play the acoustic guitar, where she quickly developed her own fingerstyle sound and a passion for expressive, dynamic playing. Today, she studies electric guitar in the pop music design programme at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim, combining technical precision with emotional depth. Josie Stickdorn has already performed live on stage with Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, among others, playing her own arrangements of »Numb« and »In The End« with him. She is an exclusive Ibanez artist, which underlines her international recognition in the guitar scene. Josie Stickdorn will play electric guitar in »Der zerbrochne Krug« at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg in 2025/26.
