Susanne Schyns

Susanne Schyns is an actress, singer and dancer. She was born in Eitorf (Sieg) and completed studies in acting, music and dance at the Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln, followed by musical theatre studies at the Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama in Hamburg. Since 1991 she has worked as an actress, singer and dancer and has appeared, among others, with the Mutare Musiktheater Ensemble, the E9N – Ensemble 9 November, the FTTF – Freies Tanztheater Frankfurt, as well as at Oper Frankfurt, Schauspielhaus Hamburg and Theater und Orchester Heidelberg. Since 2000 she has been a founding member of the TH_E – Theaterhaus Ensemble Frankfurt. She has also maintained a long-standing artistic collaboration with the director Andrea Schwalbach. In addition to her stage work, Susanne Schyns is active as a yoga teacher and storyteller of traditional fairy tales.
