Jenny Groß

Jenny Groß, born in Mannheim in 1995, grew up bilingual (German/Chinese) and studied acting at the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Graz. She has been a member of the ensemble at Schauspiel Halle since the 2023/24 season. Notable roles have included the title roles in Sophocles’ »Antigone« and Aitmatov’s »Djamila«, as well as Miranda in Shakespeare’s »The Tempest«. She has worked with directors such as Mille Maria Dalsgaard, Armin Petras and Julia Hölscher.

She has been appearing as the lead in the world premiere of Yannic Han Biao Federer’s »Asiawochen« at the Theater & Orchester Heidelberg since the 2025/26 season.
