Beatrix Doderer

Beatrix Doderer was born and raised in Darmstadt, completing her acting training in Munich. This was followed by various engagements including at the Staatstheater Braunschweig, Bühnen Bern, Münchner Kammerspiele and Staatstheater Augsburg, where she worked with Holger Schultze for the first time. In 2003, she joined Dieter Dorn to work at the Residenztheater Munich. In 2018, she made a guest appearance in Heidelberg in Maryam Zaree's »Kluge Gefühle« (directed by Isabel Osthues). From 2019 to 2023, she was a member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Graz under the direction of Iris Laufenberg. During this time, she worked with directors including Claudia Bossard, Tina Lanik, Christina Tscharyiski, Dieter Dorn, Jörg Hube, Franz Xaver Kroetz, Stephan Kimmig, Franz Xaver Mayr and Marius von Mayenburg. Beatrix Doderer gained her first cabaret experience while at drama school and has worked continuously with leading figures in the field, such as Dieter Hildebrandt, since 1999. Since 2009, she is teaching acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. She also regularly works as a dubbing artist. Since 2024, she has been working as a freelance actress and will appear this season in »If the Widow Wishes to Be Addressed She Puts the Watering Can on the Grave with the Spout Facing Forward« at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg.
