Lan Anh Pham

Lan Anh Pham, born in 1994, studied scenography at Hochschule Hannover and the Riga Art Academy from 2013 to 2018. She has designed sets for music videos, worked on camera and editing for web series, presented an interactive spatial installation at the Spieltriebe 8 festival in Osnabrück, and developed various stage and costume designs at the Theater Osnabrück, the Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Theater Lübeck and the Schauspiel Dortmund. Her work in the independent theatre scene has been shown at the Dampfzentrale in Bern and the Tanzhaus in Zurich. Most recently, Lan Anh Pham’s work has been presented at the Schauspielhaus Zurich, the Thalia Theatre in Hamburg, the Treibstoff Theatertage in Basel, the Schauspiel Dortmund and the Theater an der Parkaue in Berlin. At the Theater & Orchester Heidelberg, Lan Anh Pham designed the set and costumes for »Das Gewicht der Ameisen« at the Junges Theater in the 2024/25 season. In the 2026/27 season, she is developing the set and costumes for the world premiere of »Babel«, a musical tale of linguistic confusion with texts by Ivana Sokola, directed by Jana Vetten.
