Sergej Gößner
Sergej Gößner is a director, playwright and actor. After studying drama, Sergej Gößner worked at venues including the Junges Staatstheater Wiesbaden and the Junges Schauspielhaus Hamburg.
Since 2020, Sergej Gößner has primarily been directing and writing for the stage. His debut play »Irreparabel« was nominated for the Heidelberg Stückemarkt Autorenpreis in 2016 and was awarded the Jugendstückepreis in 2018. His plays »Wegklatschen. Applaus für Bonnie und Clyde« and the monologue »lauwarm« have also received several awards, including the Dutch-German Kaas & Kappes Prize for Children’s and Young People’s Drama. Further nominations followed for the Brüder-Grimm-Preis of the State of Berlin and the Deutschen Kindertheaterpreis. In 2020, Sergej Gößner wrote the message »Wir sind relevanter!« for ASSITEJ to mark World Theatre Day for Young Audiences. In 2022, »Der fabelhafte Die«, which premiered at the Theater Konstanz directed by Kristo Šagor, was nominated for the KinderStückePreis at the Mülheimer Theatertage.
His world premiere production of Kristo Šagor’s play »Nice« was invited to the 42nd Heidelberger Stückemarkt, and the script won the 2025 Jugendstückepreis. The following year, he was invited as a playwright to the 43rd Heidelberger Stückemarkt with his play »ich sehe was / was du nicht siehst« and won the 2026 Jugendstückepreis.
