Alfredo Napoletano
Alfredo Napoletano will take up his first position with Tanz Heidelberg in the 2026/27 season. He began his dance training from 2018 to 2021 in his hometown of Naples at the Lyceum Mara Fusco; in 2022, he commenced his dance studies at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, which he successfully completed in the summer of 2026. During his studies, he was a member of the Codarts Dance Company in the Netherlands under the artistic direction of Keith-Derrick Randolph. There, he danced in works by Martha Graham, Cayetano Soto, Jiří Kylián, LA HORDE, Heidi Vierthaler and Dalton Jansen, amongst others.
Whilst still a student, Alfredo Napoletano began developing his first choreographic works in collaboration with his fellow students. These included »I Think I’m Brave« (2024) and »Amò« (2025), through which he continued to explore and develop his artistic voice.
During the 2025/26 season, Alfredo Napoletano was a member of the Bern Ballet. There, he worked with renowned choreographers such as Jiří Pokorný, Marco Goecke, Hege Haagenrud, Marioenrico D’Angelo and Sidone Fossé.
