Kaya Loewe

Kaya Loewe will join the ensemble at Theater & Orchester Heidelberg from the 2026/27 season.

She was born in Berlin in 1999 and grew up in Bonn. From 2019 to 2024, she studied acting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater »Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy« in Leipzig.

From 2022 to 2024, Kaya Loewe was a member of the acting studio at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, where she appeared in productions directed by Claudia Bauer, Volker Lösch, Tom Kühnel and Lily Sykes, amongst others. From 2024 to 2026, Kaya Loewe worked as a freelance actress whilst continuing to perform regularly at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, including in »Nullerjahre« (directed by Kajetan Skurski) and »Das Schloss« (directed by Maxim Didenko). Since 2025, she has been appearing as Fräulein Kost in »Cabaret« at the Staatsoperette Dresden. At the Staatsoperette Dresden, Kaya Loewe appeared in 2025 in »La Leçon« by Eugène Ionesco (directed by Arne Retzlaf).
