Salar Jafari

Salar Jafari will be a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater & Orchester Heidelberg from the 2026/27 season onwards.

Born in Iran in 2001, he has lived in Germany since 2013. From 2022 to 2026, he studied acting at the Universität der Künste Berlin. In 2025, he was awarded the Solo Prize at the Schauspielschultreffen in Salzburg.

His work spans the stage, film and music. In Berlin, his roles have included a leading part in »Verbrechen« at the Neuköllner Oper; on the big screen, he most recently appeared in the feature film »Rave On« by Nikias Chryssos and Viktor Jakovleski.

Alongside his acting work, Salar Jafari is active as a musician. He sings and plays the guitar and piano – it was through the Berlin music scene that he began producing electronic music. He also writes poetry, essays and his own scripts for the stage.
