Tobias Amoriello

Tobias Amoriello has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Junges Theater Heidelberg since the 2026/27 season.

Tobias Amoriello, born in Wesel in 1993, studied philosophy and theatre studies at Ruhr-Universität Bochum from 2012 to 2016.

During this time, he worked as an actor, assistant director and stage manager at the Theater Oberhausen and the Rottstr 5 Theater in Bochum, as well as playing trumpet in the German-language punk band Vertikal.
From 2016 to 2020, he studied acting at the HMT Leipzig and, during this time, realised various projects with the collectives Ali B and Studio LZR. Here, he worked with Enrico Lübbe, Armin Petras and Stephan Beer, amongst others.

From 2020 to 2023, he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Theater der Jungen Welt in Leipzig, where he appeared in roles including Franz Moor and Hamlet.

From 2024 to 2026, he worked as a freelancer on productions at the Theater Konstanz, the Prinz Regent Theater Bochum and the Rabbit Hole Theater Essen, and led various workshops for teenagers and young adults.
