Sissi Reich was born in Graz in 1999 and gained her first theatre experience at an early age at Schauspielhaus Graz, Next Liberty and the Junges Burgtheater. She studied art history and theatre, film and media studies at the Universtität Wien. In autumn 2020, she began her acting studies at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, where she is expected to graduate in 2024. She has worked with Franz Xaver Mayr, Peter Ender, Philipp Becker and Mandy Fabian-Osterhage, among others. During her acting studies, she worked on her own projects that pose questions about identity, body images and habits of seeing, and she also focuses on exploring new drama. In the 2021/22 season she was a guest at Theater Konstanz in the production »bodybild [and now I'm gonna roll myself in glitter and roll down that hill like a nut in autumn]« by Julia Haenni (director: Susanne Frieling). At Theater und Orchester Heidelberg she is guest starring in the world premiere of »Die Guten« by Rebekka Kricheldorf (Director: Theresa Thomasberger), which will premiere as part of the Remmidemmi festival in 2022.
