Peter Lindhorst was born in Berlin in 1975 and grew up with his four siblings on Sylt. After school, he trained as a sound technician in Hamburg. He gained his first stage experience at the Koblenzer Jugendtheater, later attended the Schauspielschule Koblenz, from which he graduated in 2005. His first permanent engagement followed in 2006/07 at the Münchner Theater für Kinder. In the 2007/08 season, Peter Lindhorst moved to the Landesbühne Wilhelmshaven and performed there for five years. From 2012 to 2016, another engagement followed at the Junges Theater Heidelberg. He made guest appearances at the Schloßfestspiele Neersen in 2012, at the Staatstheater Saarbrücken in 2016, at the Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landestheater in both 2017 and 2019, appeared in »Animal Farm« at the Theater Erlangen in 2019 and most recently in »Robin Hood« at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven. In summer 2018 he completed further training as a film/television actor at Werkmünchen, since then he has been shooting regularly (TV/commercials). Now he returns to Heidelberg for »The Animals' Conference«.
