Adel Darwish (*1993) studied at the Institute of Film and Theatre in Aleppo before he went on to the Academy of Music and Drama of the University of Gothenburg. He worked as an actor in and screenwriter of short films in Syria and Sweden. His theatre play »Hierarchy of Needs« premiered at the Backa Teater Gothenburg in 2019.
