Indrė Pelakauskaitė

Indrė Pelakauskaitė has been a member of the ensemble at the Theater & Orchester Heidelberg since the 2023/24 season, where she enjoyed great success with her role debut as Tatyana in »Eugene Onegin«. This was followed by further roles, including Marzelline in »Fidelio«, Micaëla in »Carmen«, Jungfer Marianne Leitmetzerin in »Der Rosenkavalier«, as well as Fiordiligi in »Così fan tutte«.

The Lithuanian-born soprano completed her vocal studies in Hamburg and Vienna and is a multiple award-winner, including prizes from the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg and the 2022 Hans Staud Music Prize, where she came third and won the audience award.

In the 2022/23 season, she was a member of the opera studio at the Theater Krefeld und Mönchengladbach, where she performed roles such as Lisa (»La Sonnambula«), Kate Pinkerton (»Madama Butterfly«) and the Countess of Ceprano (»Rigoletto«). In 2022, she made her house debut as Madame Jouvenot (»Adriana Lecouvreur«) at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.

Her repertoire also includes roles such as Donna Elvira (»Don Giovanni«), Mimì (»La Bohème«), Ariadne (»Ariadne auf Naxos«), Climene (Gluck’s »La Corona«) and Elisetta (Cimarosa’s »Il matrimonio segreto«).
