Tizian Steffen was born in Dessau in 1991. From 1999 to 2007 he was a member of the children's choir of the Anhaltisches Theater and also performed as a soloist in musical theatre and drama, e.g. as Gavroche in »Les Misérables«, Third Boy in »The Magic Flute« and Young Scrooge in »A Christmas Carol«.
From 2011 to 2019, he was employed at Dressau Theatre as an assistant director with a play commitment and trained as a part-time church musician on the side. Since October 2019 he has been studying in the contemporary puppetry department at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch Berlin. His great interest lies in the combination of his two passions, music (theatre) and puppetry, to which he already devoted himself intensively during his studies as a member of the ensemble ßahar.
As a volunteer at the International Shadow Theatre Festival Schwäbisch Gmünd in October 2022, he discovered his interest in the diverse world of shadow plays, which he will now devote himself to as a player for the first time in the production of »The Tobacconist« at the Theater Heidelberg.
