Sahara Bauer - pop singer, political activist and mother of adopted triplets Amor, Antonia and Noel - has to go on tour again: The children should be looked after on their school trip and she has also hired a cleaner online to take care of the internal chaos in her absence. But the school trip is cancelled and the supposed cleaner, Lille Plankenross, is not only actually called Liam, but also has a sinister plan: Liam wants to burn down the Bauers' house in order to stop their political education work. The teenagers manage to overpower Liam. But he has already destroyed the Agneta smart-home system, which means that the three of them are now trapped in their own house with the false cleaner. What's more, only one mobile phone survived the fight and it's stuck in a livestream. Sahara doesn't return for another two weeks. Can they free themselves alone or will the four of them simply have to make the best of it?
Plays by Jchj V. Dussel have been performed at the Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin and the Staatstheater Hannover, among others, and »Darkroom revisited« was also shown at the Heidelberg Stückemarkt 2022. The play »Drei Frauen im Meeresspiegel der Postapokalypse« was shortlisted for the Theater Treffens der Berliner Festspiele. After the young adult novel »aus dem schlafenden Vulkan ausbrechen,« Jchj V. Dussel's first play for young people now follows. With »Pubertäter*innen,« V. Dussel succeeds in telling an exciting story of three young people who face the villain with courage and self-assurance, without losing their sense of humour, and perhaps slip into one or two musical numbers.
