Shout for joy, exult! Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio is a once-in-a-century work, inextricably linked with Christmas. It lets you experience the Christmas story as told in the Bible according to Luke and Matthew, combined with own texts and a few strophic church songs.

Originally composed for the Christmas Days of 1734 and the turn of the year, this clearly structured six-part oratorio is festive Baroque music of timeless radiant power.
