Are you interested in how a theatre production is created? Do you have an opinion about what happens on stage and would like to contribute your ideas to a production? And are you between 10 and 14 years old?

Then apply to be our Jugenddramaturg*in! You don't have to be a theatre professional.

As a Jugenddramaturg*in, you will accompany a production at the Junges Theater Heidelberg during the rehearsal period of about six to seven weeks. You will become part of the production and experience how a production is created, and you will be able to contribute your opinion! This means that you will read the script and attend five rehearsals: the concept rehearsal (the first meeting of the entire team), three further rehearsals and a final rehearsal (one of the last run-throughs). Rehearsals usually take place on weekday evenings between 6 and 9 p.m. At each meeting, we, the production team, would like to discuss what we have seen with you. Your opinions, thoughts and ideas will help us to continue working on the play. Your perspective as a young person is valuable to us!
