How would a dancer choreograph and a choreographer dance? Manuel Liñán explores exactly these steps in his flamenco piece »Baile de Autor« (»Dance of the Author«), presenting a fantastic and creative process on stage. The experienced Spanish dancer-choreographer breathes life and meaning into each artistic element with his entire body. Together with singer David Carpio and guitarist Manuel Valencia, »Baile de Autor« invites the audience into an artistic universe, unveiling the many possibilities for flamenco in the theatre.

*The dancers and staff of DTH are eager to engage in conversations about dance, which is why we are offering a special dialogue opportunity: the Tanzbiennale Transfer. Between performances in the Alter Saal and the Hebel-Halle, we will walk together along Heidelberg’s main street to Bismarckplatz. This unique transfer can lead to discussions about dance and movement in general or the specific guest performances. Look for us under our bright pink Tanzbiennale umbrella!
