To ensure that our audience is not deprived of the inspiring creations by artists from the region, we have invited professional choreographers from Baden-Württemberg to submit their pieces for the Tanzbiennale 2025. The selected works will be presented over two festival evenings.

Iván Pérez, artistic director of Dance Theatre Heidelberg, has chosen »Artificial Normal« by choreographer Katja Büchtemann from Tübingen. In it: Two dancers, a multi-award- winning organist playing the electric organ, an acoustic quake for 8-channel electronics, an aerial object, and the question of physical experience when normality no longer exists.
