During the Tanzbiennale, the Nostos Tanztheater, together with Mr. Quick (David Kwiek) and the Heiliggeistkirche, invites you to a special all-style street dance battle: a so-called Church Battle in the Heiliggeistkirche. Anyone aged 18 and over who is interested in presenting their dancing skills, competing with other dancers, and being professionally judged by Adnane Zaatouri, Brooklyn, WooSang Jeon, and Angelo Berber can participate. Registration is possible directly at the church from 12:00 p. m. After a pre-selection there will be three rounds of dancing. The Church Battle is open to all styles and there is a proud 1,000 euros in prize money up for grabs.

In addition, the dance piece »Contamination« by Christina Liakopoyloy will be presented, which explores the fusion of two people and their stories. Urban dance thus also shows its artistic side, beyond the competitive.
