At age of 8, she knew she wanted to become a dancer. When Jone San Martín Astigarraga talks about her career, you understand that dance is her home, her language, her world, that she wants to explore. She studies both ballet, and contemporary dance, and today, five decades later, she is still dedicated to learning new techniques and styles, incorporating new forms of expression, exploring and overcoming limits. She has been a dancer with William Forsythe for 23 years, and now she brings his pieces to the stage and gives master classes. But most importantly, she is a  choreographer and dancer, like now, at the Biennale in the three evenings of »Mellowing«, »Black Lights« and the Tanzgala Baden-Württemberg.

Eva Wagner is host of the talk.
