After the successful evenings with »The Moon Flies Through the Neckar Valley«, »But I like to sing!«, »Blow Me Down, Mozart« and »Time Is Driving the Car«, Holger Schultze's newest theatre revue will be performed at Zwinger!

In times of climate crisis, species extinction and global warming, members of musical theatre and drama sing and act out the upcoming end of the world – sometimes cheerfully, sometimes thoughtfully, but always entertainingly. Musically, literarily and choreographically, they set out to save the world just briefly. With songs and texts from Udo Lindenberg to Dota Kehr.

Theatrical fun is to be expected that casually draws attention to the urgency of the issue. After all, it's already 5 minutes to 12.

Dass »eine gekonnte Mischung aus heiteren, nachdenklichen und vor allem sehr unterhaltsamen Revuenummern ausgesprochen gut ankommt«, habe Regisseur Holger Schultze »schon mehrfach bewiesen«, bemerkt Ingeborg Salomon in der Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung (23. Dezember 2025). Das Publikum habe »begeistert [...] eine Zugabe« erklatscht und die Rezensentin bedauert das Ende des »beliebten Formats«: »Das ist zwar nicht der Weltuntergang, aber doch sehr, sehr schade.«

»Humoristische, aber auch tiefsinnige Momente« seien garantiert, schreibt Annika Reinhardt im Mannheimer Morgen (23. Dezember 2025). »Geschickt« würden »Musik und Texte nahtlos in die Szenen eingebaut«, die Songs vom Ensemble »überzeugend performt«, auch die Choreografien trügen »zum Erfolg des Stückes« bei. Mit »Geliebte Zukunft« ende der Abend mit einem »deutlichen Hoffnungsschimmer«, freut sich die Kritikerin.
