MINE and YOURS
A play development on sharing and owning
Zwinger 3
This is mine – that is yours. Sometimes it’s clear to whom things belong. Sometimes, however, it’s not as clear. To whom do the Legos in kindergarten belong? And the sand moulds? To the one who is fastest, strongest or loudest? Conflicts often arise when someone is unhappy with how things are distributed. But there are many more aspects to it: Owning can be nice but it can also be frustrating or boring. Sharing can be annoying, but it can also be fun!
With this play development we set out to pose questions and to find answers around owning and sharing. We ask ourselves: Which things do we want to own? When is it important to own? How do we share successfully? Does the value of something increase or decrease when we share it? When does owning not matter?
