Theatre mirrors the world: conflicts are portrayed, human longings are given artistic expression. Religion has the same relationship to the world, but offers its own view of the world with its conflicts and longings. The Heiliggeistkirche and the theatre and orchestra of the city of Heidelberg take this as an opportunity to relate the church service on selected Sundays to themes from the theatre programme.

The theatre service in June revolves around the dance piece »Pollock« by Iván Pérez. Pastor Vincenzo Petracca will examine it under the aspect of »Creation and creative spiritual power«. The Dance Theatre Heidelberg will dance during the service, with music by Jan Wilke (organ) and Knut Rössler (saxophone).
