How can you resist being made to disappear? In a special edition for Heidelberg, the installation becomes a live performance. A make-up masterclass as a poetic guide to self-transformation that raises a central question: How far does the female body have to change in order not to disappear?
Sabina Aldana has been working artistically on the disappearance of people in Mexico since 2018. When she began, the number of disappeared people was around 32,000; today it is over 127,000.
