The UN campaign »Orange the World« has been raising awareness of violence against women and girls since 1991. This violence is firmly anchored in our patriarchal structures and has profound consequences for the lives of women and society as a whole. The plot of the play »The Broken Jug« from 1808 is based on the system of power and questioned credibility. To this day, Kleist's play invites us to critically question existing structures. In the post-performance discussion, Anja Titze from terre des femmes and Milena Berg from Frauen helfen Frauen e. V. will engage in an exchange with the ensemble and the audience.
