100 years of Heidelberger Schlossfestspiele

The Heidelberger Schlossfestspiele are turning 100. That's a reason to celebrate! With serenades, retrospectives and anecdotes about stars and starlets, those rightly and wrongly forgotten, with surprises, curiosities and things that never change.

Ensemble members from all disciplines take you on a journey through time and to places in Heidelberg Castle that are not usually seen during regular castle performances.

In addition, the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, in cooperation with the Staatliche Schlösser und Gärten Baden-Württemberg, is presenting an exhibition in the castle premises that illuminates the history of the Castle Festival in detail and brings special exhibits and documents to life.
