There’s this memory from way back. Over the years, he has told about it now and then, with time passing by in between. A long time, during which he has changed. A summer evening, a house party and spin the bottle with French kissing. Afterwards, the two of them in one room, and everyone thinks something happened. With touching, desire and ecstatic anticipation – however, that’s not the way it was.

How can society protect people from assault, regardless of gender? How can we combat patriarchal prejudices that play into the hands of perpetrators and unsettle friends and relatives of victims? Sergej Gößner’s »I See Something / You Don’t See« (ich sehe was / was du nicht siehst) offers a variety of perspectives on a subject that is all too often kept secret out of shame.
