This is the perfect place to get to know Lindy Hop and experience for yourself why this swing dance brings so much joy to more and more people! Lindy Hop evolved from many swing dances, such as the Charleston, and has deep roots in African American culture. The dance offers plenty of room for improvisation and creativity, and it’s not about executing the same steps as perfectly as possible—with Lindy Hop, you can be completely yourself: sometimes quiet, sometimes loud, sometimes big, sometimes small, sometimes silly, sometimes elegant!

After a 30-minute crash course of dance school SwingStep, you can just dance  and try out what you’ve just learned. You don’t need a dance partner—we’ll be switching partners the whole time!
