Whether contemporary dance or classical ballet, independent company or permanent ensemble of a municipal or state theater, the state of Baden-Württemberg has a wealth of dance offerings. The Tanzgala Baden-Württemberg, which will also take place on two stages in 2025, promises a concentrated evening of this artistic diversity. It begins at 5:00 p. m. in the Marguerre-Saal of Theater und Orchester Heidelberg and continues at 7:30 p. m. in the HebelHalle.

You can look forward to contributions from Gauthier Dance / Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart, Nationaltheater Mannheim Tanz, the dance companies of Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Theater Ulm, Theater Pforzheim, to the Akademie des Tanzes Mannheim, and the duo »The The«, which Dana Caspersen created together with William Forsythe in 1995. We are also looking forward to the duet »Burdens of Being« by Alessio Damiani, for which he will be awarded the Tanzbiennale Prize 2025.

Of course, both hosts, Dance Theatre Heidelberg, and the ensemble of the UnterwegsTheater Heidelberg, will also present something special.
