A shooting rampage is one of the most inconceivable forms of extreme violence. On 24 January 2022, the student Marie Luise Jung was shot dead in Heidelberg. The student body and zwinger x would like to commemorate - and enter into an exchange with open questions: How can a society deal with such an extreme form of violence? And where in the university cosmos does violence and the perceived normality of violent dynamics begin much earlier? An evening against hate, against attacks on our liberal community and against oblivion.

Moderated by Aştî, different perspectives from the university context of Heidelberg will meet: Peter Abelmann, Ole Fuchs and Stefan Meyer from the Student Body (Verfasste Studierendenschaft), Prof. Dr. Christiane Schwieren (Equal Opportunities Officer) and the tutor who personally experienced the violence in Heidelberg a year ago.
