Young talents from the renowned Forum Dirigieren will once again conduct this summer’s concert accompanying the Heidelberg Castle Illuminations. Promoted by Germany’s music council, Deutscher Musikrat, these young talents will show their superb skills. You will hear magnificent melodies before the castle is illuminated in atmospheric lights. Forum Dirigieren ist Germany’s statewide funding programme by Deutscher Musikrat addressing the young conducting elite and promoting young talents in the areas of orchestra and choir conducting while at the same time enabling these young conductors to engage artistically with nationally and internationally prominent figures. The fellows of Forum Dirigieren receive support on their career path for several years.
