For many people, queer life has been—and still is—invisible. And yet, in a city as vibrant as Heidelberg, it’s happening everywhere. On a walking tour through the Old Town, we’ll join longtime tour guide Steffen Schmid to follow in the footsteps of former Heidelberg residents and visit the places where the local community took shape. The tour is meant to inspire reflection and to remember the fates of many who have been forgotten. But it also shares humorous, colorful, and uplifting stories of queer life in Heidelberg!
