Bernadette Sonnenbichler’s theatrical spectacle transports the audience straight into an Italian filmset across both auditoriums of Theater & Orchester Heidelberg.
A fierce thunderstorm forces a plane to make an emergency landing. On board is Giuseppe Mastorna, a cellist, travelling in his professional capacity. His real nightmare starts after the plane has landed in an unknown city. The world on the ground looks exactly like the world Mastorna knows – but something is very off. Then he meets a friend who has been dead for many years.
