Niko Eleftheriadis

Niko Eleftheriadis studied acting at Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart, followed by engagements as an actor in Tübingen, Heidelberg, Basel, Athens and Esslingen. In addition, he realises his own directorial works and film projects. In 2013, he directed »Flucht in die Finsternis«  (Flight into Darkness) based on Arthur Schnitzler’s novella at WLB Esslingen. In Athens, he realised the short film production »The Thrill is gone«, and with Astrid Meyerfeldt he directed the video performance »Alkestis Theorem« for Theater Rampe. As an actor, he has most often appeared in Marie Bues' productions in recent years. They were plays by Oliver Kluck, Thomas Köck, Felicia Zeller, Katja Brunner and Rafael Spregelburd. Niko Eleftheriadis lives in Esslingen as a freelance actor, performer, voice actor and director. He directs, among others, at Neues Theater Halle and Stadttheater Ingolstadt. Together with Marie Bues, he is directing the world premiere of »Abschuss« by Özlem Özgül Dündar at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg.
